OH BABY!

This little cutie is the second baby of a girl I used to have in Activity Days! That tells you how old I am getting!! I still can't believe she has two kids, but she needs many more because look how cute they are...

Little miss "L" did not want anything to do with pictures. She just wanted her momma!! Finally we got her to cooperate.

OUTNUMBERED AGAIN!

Another DARLING family full of girls. They finally got a little boy on #5. And let me tell you . . . he was not a happy camper. We finally found the magic recipe - go where the horses are. Once we found the horses (or actually the horses found us), he was all smiles.

WHO NEEDS SUMMER!?!

For those who think you need to wait until summer for great pictures - WRONG!! Granted, the -25ish we have had lately is a little cold, but it has gotten better. When it reaches 30, I don't even need a coat. Mainly I am trying to convince myself that the snow is my friend. I have to find some way to like this weather since we have it 9 months out of the year. . .and even then it's been known to snow in the summer.

If you can't tell, the kids had a BALL! Getting pictures has never been so easy. Thanks Lori for the great location!!

On another note . . . can anyone tell me why this whole blogging thing has to be SO difficult? It is driving me crazy!! I can't get the pictures to load right, it won't let me preview, GRRRRRRRR! Is there any way to tag the group of photos?

WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD

At one point in my life, I had thought that the only way to see something amazing was to go to a far-off, exotic land (sad I know). I had planned to do that very thing. Well . . . as we all know, life doesn't always turn out as you plan! I had thought that the things around me were nice, but it was the norm. It was all I had known. My perspective didn't really change until I started looking at things from behind the camera. Somehow EVERYTHING becomes so beautiful! From then on it was my mission to photograph the beauty all around me - no matter where I was, or how not-exotic the place was. I was amazed at what I found. I have so many more to post, and hope I can continue to find joy in the beauty of even the simplest of things, and places.

A LITTLE OUTNUMBERED

The parents of these cute girls are some of my best friends. I went to High School with the dad, so he was my friend FIRST (he always points that out). Then I ended up being roommates with the mom at college. They finally moved home, and I did a happy dance.
